We have developed an unofficial privacy policy for the Ironbridge Church Web Site. We do not collect any personal information when you visit our website unless you choose to provide that information to us.

During your visit to our site, we do gather information about your visit automatically. This information does not identify you personally and is limited to:

Other than the information listed above, personal information is only collected if you send an email to our office staff or if you choose to provide personal information through a submission form on our web site.

We do not collect personal information for any other purposes.

All credit/debit card transactions are conducted through PayPal. You will be directed to PayPal's secure website, which uses a SSL (secure socket layer) connection. This type of connection provides increased security to the information as it is transmitted over the web. Ironbridge Church provides links to other web sites that are neither owned or controlled by the church. These third-party sites are not bound by the Ironbridge Church Privacy Policy. Such external sites may or may not have their own privacy policies and may or may not collect personal information from you. While these external sites have been reviewed by Ironbridge Church staff, content on these sites can continually change. Ironbridge Church is not responsible for the privacy policies, information collection policies, or any damage resulting from the external sites linked to our web site.

Congregational Information

Our Privacy Policy extends to congregational information that is posted or derived from our web site. We are very sensitive to the posting of information on our web site concerning names, email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers, and photos of members and staff at Ironbridge.

For staff members, we publish a full name and office telephone number, if available. We have set up a central email address that is monitored by our office staff. Emails sent to this address are directed to appropriate personnel. Links to email specific staff members are set up to send to our main email address, with the subject line automatically specifying to whom the email should be directed. This is set up for each staff member unless we are asked to do otherwise. We do this in an effort to lighten the amount of spam e-mail received by our pastors and staff.

For adult members, we often publish a full name if the member is a contact for a certain group or activity that we are covering on the web site. We try not to post phone numbers or email addresses of adult members, unless asked to do so. It is assumed that visitors can call or email the church office, or use an Ironbridge membership directory, to obtain a ministry or activity contact's phone number.

For youth, we do not publish full names, phone numbers, or addresses.

We try not to post photos that would seem to be objectionable by anyone in the photo. We try to post photos of people in public places at public events. We try to obtain permission from parents before posting photos of youth. All content on the youth web site is approved by our Youth Pastor before being posted on the web.

If you see a photo that includes you and would like it removed from the site, we would be glad to do so. Please notify the webmaster of the details.
