"Rejoice, always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Prayer is the tool of strength that is used by every member of the church. Each time God answers our prayers our faith is increased. Of the many opportunities afforded to the church, we will hold a churchwide prayer service one Sunday night of each month. Anyone is welcome to come. Check the church calendar and Sunday bulletin for details.
Also, we have a 24-hour prayerline (796-6868, ext. 30) that one may call and hear prayer needs, as well as leave a prayer request.
During the 9:30 and 11:00 Sunday Worship service, the Sweet Hour of Prayer is held in the Pastor's Study. All are welcome who would like to intercede during the worship service hour and pray.
Many of our Sunday School classes have prayer chains, faithfully keeping emergency needs in prayer. Also there is an active e-mail distribution in which prayer needs are sent out to the church family.
