Students

Fuzed every Wednesday, 6:30pm in the Bridge

True Love Project Wednesdays in February:

Special Fuzed discussions will be held on Wednesdays 2/11, 2/18, 2/25.  Led by Chris Palmer and Tamara Tatum, guys and girls will be separated during teaching time to talk through true love and relationships from a Biblical perspective.  This is not a sex-ed class, but the topic will be addressed on an appropriate level for students. Disclaimer: middle school students are having family life classes at 6th grade. Regardless of whether or not they attend those classes, their friends are communicating all that they learned.  Innocence is virtually non-existent in middle school. However, we will be delicate with the subject as we will have all ages in the discussions.  We are using the Lifeway True Love Project curriculum written by Clayton and Sharie King.  Parents are welcome to attend these sessions with their students.  A discussion guide will follow for parents to connect with their students in more detail.

Creating a Movement

among young people to the throne of God

Our Discipleship Process creates movements in the hearts and lives of teenagers. We do this by helping INSTALL teens into God’s family, helping UPGRADE their relationships with God and others, and helping CONNECT them to their mission. Bridge Groups will meet Sunday mornings at 9 am in the Bridge.  The groups are divided by grade and gender and aim to help challenge students to obey God’s call for their lives. FUZED is a weekly student fellowship time on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm in the Bridge.  The students engage in worship through music led by a student band, through challenging messages from the Pastor to Students, and through hanging out with their peers. The students also are involved in a number of other events throughout the year, including: DiscipleNow, mission trips, winter retreats, ski trips, senior beach trips and youth choir performances.
