Childhood Hero

Shirley Starr my 2nd grade Sunday School teacher. She was my hero growing up and still is today. A woman who follows God with her whole heart, serves with everything she has and genuinely loves people. She has been an encouragement to me when I was in high school and struggling with my faith, and then in college when I was far from home, and now in bringing little presents for my daughter Elsie! She taught me, along with some other fantastic people at my church growing up, that your church can be like your family and it’s important to have other people in your circle helping you as parents so that there are other people who can influence your child for good.

What Do You Like to Fo for Fun

I love to watch movies with my family and play outside with my daughter, Elsie!

Ultimate Vacation Destination

Fiji – I’ve been wanting to go there since I was seven years old and saw pictures of this gorgeous island off of Australia!

A Little More About You

I graduated from Liberty University in 2012 with a degree in Children’s Ministry. A couple months later I married my husband Sean. We have moved a few times following God’s call for us to be in ministry in our local church – me as Children’s Director and Sean working alongside assisting with all our electronic needs! God led us here in 2014 right before the birth of our daughter Elsie. God has an amazing plan for each of our lives and we never know how it’s going to turn out when we’re right in the middle of it, but when we’re able to look back at what He’s already done, we can have such amazing hope for the future! God isn’t finished with you yet!
