It’s time to Power Up!  That’s right, it’s time for VBS.  Our theme this year is “Power Up!: Raise your game!”  Think retro 80s video games: Pac-man, Rubik’s cubes, space invaders. . . you get the idea.  Our memory verse for the week is “God’s power has given us everything we need to live a godly life.”  2 Peter 1:3a NIV.  We need volunteers with all gifts, talents and abilities, i.e., décor, music, large group helpers, small group leaders, crafts, games, organization, security, set-up, take-down, the list goes on and on.  Volunteering is open to all from Junior High through 100+ years of age.  There is something for everyone of every age and ability to serve.  Set aside these dates: July 22—July 26^th,  6PM—8PM for a week of Powering up!
