Support for Ukraine
As you watch the tragedy unfold in Ukraine, take heart knowing your IMB missionaries are serving those in need alongside local Baptist partners – providing emergency food relief, shelter, and clothing to displaced families. As a faithful IMB partner, I want to make sure you are aware of our response in this rapidly escalating crisis.
IMB President Paul Chitwood is currently in neighboring Poland where he has been meeting with missionaries coordinating our response. He shared how one church planter became emotional talking through the immensity of the crisis, saying, “I wasn’t prepared for this in seminary.” No one could be prepared for the human trauma revealed through this crisis. It is only by the grace of God that we can offer help and hope to those in need.
Through Send Relief, the Southern Baptist compassion ministry, we began responding in Ukraine before the invasion. Relief efforts have now expanded to serve the thousands displaced in surrounding countries. You can watch a video update from our Send Relief Vice President, Jason Cox, on the ground in Poland. Send Relief will soon deploy an assessment team of volunteers from North Carolina Baptist Men, Ohio Baptist Convention and Southern Baptists of Texas Convention who will use their expertise to assess major needs. As the crisis continues, we will adjust to changing conditions.
So, how can you help?
Please pray. There is no more significant tool for relief in this conflict than prayer. To help you, we have created a prayer guide you can find online. The prayer guide will soon be available in Spanish, Chinese and Korean.
Please give. If you or anyone you know are interested in supporting Ukrainian relief financially, you may give online through imb.org/Ukraine. 100% of your gifts will serve Ukrainians in need.
Your praying and giving allow us to continue providing even more help and hope. Thank you for your ongoing support. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.

Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions
The theme for this years Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for North American Missions is UNITED
“Now may the God who gives endurance and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus, so that you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with one mind and one voice.” -Romans 15:5–6
North American missionaries depend on your prayers. They are taking the gospel to a region of 366 million people where the spiritual and cultural divides are deep and growing. Only the love of Christ can bring true unity and transformation. As you read each story and lift up the missionaries’ requests during the Week of Prayer, you are joining them on mission and providing vital support for their work. To see more of their stories and how your prayers are making an impact, visit the links to their featured videos. And to receive weekly missionary prayer requests all year, please sign up at namb.net/pray.

Ironbridge has the opportunity to partner with the Senior Home Services committee, a volunteer organization assisting Chesterfield County seniors with minor home repairs and services. Most service requests are made because the senior or disabled resident can no longer perform the task themselves, nor afford to pay for the repair. Most requests would involve yard work (largest percentage of jobs) or home interior repairs.
Our goal is to complete one project per month. When requests are sent to Ironbridge, teams will be assembled based on the skills, interests and availability of volunteers. Please email Marjorie Loya at firstname.lastname@example.org to complete a short interest and skills inventory indicating the types of jobs for which you want to receive notifications.
