A Little More About You
I grew up in North Dakota, yes it is actually a state. I met my best friend and now husband, Ian, when we started a band together as high school freshmen. Music is our love language. We enjoy writing and playing our own music and playing worship music. Ian and I have been leading worship together since 2004 and spent a summer in Kansas City interning as worship leaders at the International House of Prayer in 2008. I am a lover of all things art and music. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Minot State University in art education and taught advanced courses to high school students for eight years. In 2015, we moved 1700 miles from home to help friends we met while living in KC re-plant a church in Richmond. That season quickly transitioned to doors opening at Ironbridge where my day job turned from art teacher to director of communications. Life is a journey and I am learning to trust God at every turn.
